The False Saints Exile Manga Reaches Its Final Chapter in October
The manga adaptation of The False Saint’s Exile is coming to an end. The November issue of Kadokawa’s Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh revealed that Marimuu’s manga version of Rakku Yasahashi’s light novel series will conclude with its next chapter on October 27. Kadokawa has been publishing the manga in English on the BookWalker Global platform since April 10.
The story follows Tiara, a young woman with healing powers who has served the Imperial Court of Lerys since childhood. Labeled a “saint,” she spent years exhausting herself healing the sick and injured until she was abruptly accused of being a false saint and thrown out of the court. Having had enough, Tiara decides to leave and finally live life on her own terms. Along the way she meets a young man named Alex, who turns out to be both the prince and the most powerful dragon knight of the neighboring kingdom of Ekwald. He invites her to come home with him, and her real journey begins.
The manga launched in Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh in January 2024. Kadokawa published the first compiled book volume in July 2024 and the second volume on March 17. The original light novels by Yasahashi began on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in 2022. Kadokawa published the first novel volume, with illustrations by Komochi Mochizuki, in December 2023, and the second volume followed in October 2024.
My take: The False Saint’s Exile is a satisfying kind of comfort read, the type of isekai adjacent story where the hero gets to leave behind a situation that never deserved her and find something genuinely better. Glad it got to reach its ending.
