Aishiteru Game wo Owarasetai Anime Sets April 2026 Premiere With Full Cast

Production company Nikkatsu has launched an official website for the Aishiteru Game wo Owarasetai anime, revealing the main cast, staff, and a teaser visual. The series adapts Yuuki Doumoto’s school comedy manga of the same name and is set to begin airing in April 2026.

Kaito Ishikawa, known for Shiro Seijo to Kuro Bokushi, will voice Yukiya Asagi. Miku Itou, known for Adachi to Shimamura, plays Miku Sakura. Director Azuma Tani, who previously directed Thermae Romae, is helming the project at Felix Film. Series composition and scripts are being handled by Keiichirou Oochi, with character design by Yuuki Fukuchi and music by Akito Matsuda of Hibike! Euphonium.

Doumoto started the manga on the Sunday Webry platform in December 2021. Shogakukan published the seventh compiled volume in June 2025. Viz Media licensed the English version in June 2023 and has released through volume six, with volume seven currently scheduled for July 2026.

My take: Felix Film has developed a good track record with romance and slice of life series, so this feels like a solid home for the adaptation. Kaito Ishikawa and Miku Itou are both strong voices for this kind of material. Fans of the manga have good reason to be optimistic about what April 2026 brings.
