Deku had surpassed Bakugo by attaining the One For All. Bakugo went head to head against him to find out who’s stronger. This battle didn’t end well, and also Katsuki didn’t take the defeat nicely.

On Planet Namek, Frieza met his fate when he came to acquire the Dragon Balls! The evil Frieza killed Goku’s childhood friend Krillin in a cruel way.

That’s why he has little idea about how humans process.
Inosuke is someone who hates giving up, and when he lost to Tanjiro he was depressed for weeks. The Loud Mouth wouldn’t utter a word.
Even after they became friends, he promised to beat the hell out of Kamado Shonen.
Even now, he always competes with him and never gets his name right.

We have seen him struggling in the anime with his diets, and how he would go to sleep on empty stomachs and sore muscles. This displayed the dedication Takamura has for boxing, he would be few steps ahead of every opponent.

He just hates losing! Even during an arm wrestle, Takamura would smash the table into chunks before he loses to his disciple Ippo.

When Vegeta lost his first battle with Goku,

His Saiyan Pride would never allow anyone to tower over him. He trained extremely hard for years and transformed into Super Saiyan. But Son Goku was always a step ahead of the Prince.
