Reincarnated Villainess Anime English Dub Debuts October 21
Crunchyroll announced that the English dub for The Dark History of the Reincarnated Villainess began streaming on Tuesday, October 21. The dub arrives with a full voice cast soon after the show’s Japanese debut.
On the production side, Jonathan Rigg is directing the dub, Samantha Herek is producing, and Heather Walker handled the adaptation, with Neal Malley mixing and Zachary Davis engineering.
The anime itself premiered in Japan on October 8 on the TV Tokyo and BS11 channels. Crunchyroll is carrying the series across a wide swath of the world, including the Americas, Europe, Africa, Oceania, and the Middle East.
The show is directed by Hiroaki Sakurai, known for The Disastrous Life of Saiki K., at Studio DEEN, with Mitsutaka Hirota overseeing the scripts and music from MONACA. KID PHENOMENON of EXILE TRIBE perform the opening theme Black Flame, while Zerofrom handle the ending song.
There is a treat for collectors as well. A special edition Blu ray, shipping in Japan on April 3, 2026, will include two bonus episodes based on short stories not shown on television. Yen Press publishes the original romantic comedy manga in English.
My take: Having enjoyed this series already, I am glad it is reaching dub viewers so quickly. It is a charming, funny story, and a good cast should help it win over even more fans.
