How is Mahito Alive in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 7?
Mahito is one of the strongest villains in the Jujutsu world, he is solely responsible for the deaths of Nanamin Kento and Junpei. Itadori Yuji had written Mahito’s name in his death Note after he killed two of his closest friends, he was even harshly responsible for Todo and Nobara’s injuries. But then Yuji turned to his dark side and used his black flash on Mahito’s soul. It was enough for the curse to break down crying and hurdle stones at our MC. We can’t lie, it was satisfying to watch Mahito crawl to escape Yuji’s wrath!
Yuji didn’t manage to kill Mahito as Kenjaku swallowed him, that’s the proof right there which says that Mahito wasn’t dead. We heard Kenjaku talk about the Curse Realm, a place between Dreams and Reality. It’s being said in the fandom that’s where Sukuna Met Mahito’s fragment of soul. We saw a good enough glimpse of Itadori Yuji in the Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 6, where the old man talks about how he ran away from an enemy for the first time. Yuji can probably return to fight Mahito, if the villain returns in the new manga.
If you remember during their final battle Yuji told Mahito “If you’re reborn, I will kill you again”. The answer is right there, gege might have something in store for the Die Hard Jujutsu Kaisen fans!
Mahito might return after 80 years and cause havoc in the new Japanese society, there might be issues with the new Maru, Tsurugi and Yuuka handling his curse technique. That’s when Old Man Itadori Yuji can walk in and keep his promise, this can give an amazing end to the final revenge of Yuji.
After losing two of his closest people Yuji didn’t get a chance to put down Mahito, as Kenjaku spoiled the party. This might be the perfect revenge for Yuji, after 80 years that Black Flash might be powerful enough to ring the earthquake alarms in Japan!
