Hell’s Paradise Season 2 (Jigokuraku): Release Date, New Cast, Episodes.
We all missed the Ruthless Gabimaru, didn’t we? It took Mappa 2 years to come back with another season of Jigokuraku, also famously known as Hell’s Paradise!
The Manga by Yuki Kaku is one of the best new-gen Shonen Manga, it had a good run in Shounen Jump from 2019 to 2021 and consists of 13 manga volumes.
Jigokuraku Season 1 got a lot of critics praise and love from fandom, this made Otakus want more of this crazy anime. So, Studio Mappa decided to take their own sweet time and returned with Hell’s Paradise Season 2 announcement in 2025.

Otakus are happy to witness another Season of our Ruthless assassin Gabimaru’s adventures, the trailer shows animation quality on top notch level. Mappa introduces us to new fights in the trailer, we see that the wait of 2 years for Hell’s Paradise Season 2 was worth it!
The Anime is a story about a guy known as Gabimaru who’s an Assassin, he is known for his ruthless battles and murderous instincts. Because of a Death Row he finds himself on Sinister Island, and the only way out is finding the ‘Elixir of Life’.
But the problem is there are many other contestants on death row like him, they are also on a quest to grab the Elixir and find the exit door before he does.
The Hell’s Paradise Season 2 will take us more into the Sinister Islands Secrets and Monsters, we will witness more beautiful fights where Gabimaru can display his Skills. Are you Excited for Jigokuraku Season 2?
When will Hell’s Paradise Season 2 Release?
Crunchyroll and Studio Mappa haven’t given information on a certain date yet, they have clearly stated that Hell’s Paradise Season 2 will release in January 2026!
It will be one of the first anime series of 2026, Mappa has strategically placed Hell’s Paradise Season 2 on the first month of new year. Hopefully the fans fall in love with the anime and we get another season without any delay!
How many Episodes will be in Hell’s Paradise Season 2?
Hell’s Paradise Season 2 will probably have around 24 Episodes, but if Mappa decides to divide it into 2 cours. Then we will get only 12 episodes and then the other 12 after a few months.
Most Anime Studios prefer releasing Seasons in 2 cours now, as they get more time to work on the mistakes pointed out by the Anime fandom or critics.

The official website of Hell’s Paradise revealed the cast for the Hell’s Paradise Season 2, the Voice Actors are some of the best Seiyu’s in the industry.

Hell’s Paradise Season 2 will be directed by Kaori Makita who was the Director in Hell’s Paradise Season 1 too! The New Art director is Junichi Higashi, and the New DOP is Chika Toda.
