Yen Press Reveals 14 Licenses and a Delicious in Dungeon Game

Yen Press came to its New York Comic Con panel on Saturday with a big haul, announcing 14 new licenses across manga, graphic novels, and novels. Most are set to arrive in April and May 2026.

The headline for many fans, though, was a game. Yen Press will release Monster Eater: Delicious in Dungeon the Board Game in English in May 2026. Built on the hit manga and the work of veteran designer Ginichiro Suzuki, it is a cooperative game for a party of two to five players who delve a dungeon together and, true to the series, cook the monsters they defeat.

The licensing list itself is heavy on manga, with ten new series joining the catalog. Among the titles are Redeem: Only One Forever, Clumsy Kiss, My Super Cute Black Mage, and Our Party Nearly Wiped and Then Everything Went Downhill, spanning romance, comedy, and fantasy adventure.

Rounding out the announcement are a graphic novel series and three novels, giving readers a varied spread of new stories to look forward to.

Together it makes for one of the publisher’s larger reveals of the season, with something for nearly every kind of reader.

My take: A cooperative Delicious in Dungeon board game where you cook your kills is almost too perfect a fit, and it is the announcement I am most excited about. The wide manga slate is a lovely bonus on top.
