Solo Leveling: Ragnarok Gets an English Print Edition in 2026
Ize Press confirmed at New York Comic-Con on Saturday that Solo Leveling: Ragnarok, the sequel to the bestselling Solo Leveling series, is getting an official English print edition.
Set years after the original story, Ragnarok follows Sooho Sung, the son of the first series’ hero Jinwoo Sung, as he comes into his own powers and grapples with the towering legacy his legendary father left behind.
The sequel is created by Daul, with art and adaptation by JIN and Brix of REDICE Studio, and it carries over the same high stakes battles, emotional weight, and cinematic style that made the original such a phenomenon. It has already passed a million views in its digital run on Tapas.
The print edition is due in June 2026 across US bookstores, online retailers, and comic shops, arriving just a few months after the final volume of the original series.
Solo Leveling remains one of the biggest Korean webtoons in the world, having topped sales charts and inspired a record breaking anime, video games, and a planned Netflix live action series.
My take: Following the hero’s son into a new generation is a smart way to keep this world going, and fans clearly cannot get enough. A print edition is the natural next step for such a massive franchise.
