To Your Eternity Season 3 Adds Four New Voice Cast Members
The To Your Eternity season 3 anime added four new voice cast members to fill roles for Mizuha’s classmates and members of the Naginata club. The announcement was made via the series’ official X account ahead of the third season’s October 4, 2025 premiere on NHK General. Crunchyroll is streaming the season internationally.
Returning cast members include Reiji Kawashima as Fushi and Kenjirō Tsuda as The Observer. Tomori Kusunoki, who voiced Hisame in season 2, is back this time as Mizuha, a second year middle school student known for both her academics and athletic abilities. Megumi Han, who previously played Torta, returns as Yūki Aoki, a first year student and vice president of the Occult Research Club. Yumiri Hanamori is also back, now voicing a mysterious boy named Satoru.
On the production side, Sōta Yokote is making his directorial debut with this season at Drive and STUDIO MASSKET. Kiyoko Sayama, who helmed season 2, moves into the role of chief director. Returning crew includes Shinzō Fujita handling series scripts, Koji Yabuno on character design, Ryo Kawasaki composing the music, and Takeshi Takadera directing sound. Perfume performs the opening theme song “Fumetsu no Anata.”
Season 3 continues the “This World” arc of Yoshitoki Ōima’s manga and was first announced in March 2023. The manga itself wrapped up earlier this year, with the final chapter running in the 27th issue of Weekly Shōnen Magazine on June 4, 2025. The 25th and final compiled volume shipped in Japan on August 12. Kodansha USA Publishing is releasing the series in English.
Seasons 1 and 2 are both available on Crunchyroll. The first season premiered in April 2021 after being pushed back from October 2020 due to COVID-19 related production delays, and season 2 followed in October 2022.
My take: To Your Eternity has always taken its time with emotional payoffs, and seeing the “This World” arc finally get animated is something manga readers have been looking forward to for a while. This is one of those series that earns every quiet moment it asks you to sit with.
