The series follows Meteor Hanaori, a reincarnated hero now living as a high school girl, and Ryūsei Narukami, the reincarnated demon king who has become a shut-in gamer. Their unusual afterlives take another turn when Ryūsei ends up working as a teacher at Meteor’s high school.
Hikawa, also known for creating Pani Poni, launched the manga in Kodansha’s Monthly Morning Two magazine in August 2021. As of September 2025, eight collected volumes have been released, with the latest out on September 22.
Cast and staff details for the anime have not yet been revealed.
