Gnosia Episode 3 New Crew Members Review
Episode 3 of Gnosia is called New Crew Members, and it brings two fresh faces aboard. The first is Shigemichi, who looks every bit the classic gray alien, and the second is Stella, the curious aquatic character some viewers spotted in the end credits. After last week’s brief glimpses, it was nice to finally spend real time with them.
Gnosia runs on its loops, with each timeline asking the crew to work out who among them is secretly the Gnosia. Adding two new suspects widens the puzzle in a satisfying way, since every introduction reshapes who you trust and who you start to doubt.
Part of the fun is how the show plays with our instincts. Making the obvious alien the culprit would be too easy, yet pinning it on the clingy Stella feels like a setup as well. With past loops already casting SQ, Jina, and others in that role, the guessing never quite settles, and that is the point.
The episode keeps its plates spinning with real confidence, pairing the social deduction tension with the show’s steady presentation. It moved so quickly that the wait for the next loop already feels long.
The community score for the episode landed at 4.2. Gnosia is currently streaming on Crunchyroll.
My take: I adore how Gnosia trusts viewers to second guess themselves. The new crew members make the mystery richer, and I am happy to be kept guessing for a while longer.
